Catalyze Action

An enzyme is a catalyst, a special protein that reduces the activation energy necessary to get a chemical reaction going. The catalyst is not used up in the process - it sticks around to join another enzyme-substrate complex and begin the work again.

As a professional coach certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as a PCC-level coach, I relish the joy of partnering with clients in a creative, solution-focused, action-oriented conversation. We start by defining the problem and your aims. I use novel tools drawn from my experience in epidemiology to make this work concrete for those who need that, and metaphors for those who appreciate abstract connections. Some folks come with a heart-focused problem, while others struggle to name their emotions and tend to operate from a head-space. For some clients, a strategy session may be enough, while others choose to work with me for 6-12 months. Typically, clients work with me for about 10-12 sessions. I highly value client-led partnerships, and for this reason I don't ask clients to book expensive packages. We work month-to-month and ensure that you are satisfied with your progress every step of the way.

My training as a COR.E Energy Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) provides me with a deep set of tools and a proven process that works. Clients appreciate the visuals provided in the trademarked Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessment (see coaching outcomes below). This dynamic, state-based assessment helps you develop more presence so that you show up the way you want to in any situation. While my clients tend to be intense high-performers and those who identify as neurodivergent or twice-exceptional (2e), I work with anyone who wants to have more energy and live a more fulfilling life at work and home. Coaching is available for individuals and groups in the following domains: career development and transition, executive leadership, ADHD, high-performance (actors, athletes, artists, entrepreneurs), family and relationship, health and wellbeing, academic, non-fiction chapters, books and memoirs, and more.

Coaching philosophy:
  • Forward-looking and solution-focused
  • Clients are the experts in their own lives
  • Partnership built on curiosity and empowerment
  • Encompasses all domains of humanity - mind, body, and spirit
  • Awareness of internal and external motivations and how they orient our actions (or inaction)
  • Informed by cognitive behavioral therapy, self-determination theory, attribution theory and Dabrowski's theory of positive disintegration
  • Coaching elevates our conscious awareness and creates opportunities for different choices by separating stimulus from response.
  • Clients experience what they describe as "life-changing" results from the wider perspective and empowerment of coaching, but this is just the beginning. Expanded consciousness offers a portal to spiritual awakening and a true revival in one's relationships by orienting on eternal truths.
